That’s right, the weekend of the 27th October sees the all new Oktoberfest return.

It will be held at the original sight of Dandenong show grounds & even it it is a fine day, chaos i’m sure will reign.

 So as the countdown begins, I reflect on previous years…and realise how good this one will be due to having the Oaks 2 weeks later…..oh the liver!

Gonna be back there for Feb, just in time for Benno’s wedding. Just wondering if anyone is keen for a TBH camping trip one weekend in Feb? Doesn’t have to be far, would be good to have a couple days piss-up in the bush.

If you’ve got any idea where to go maybe write that too; somewhere where we can make noise…

 It’s the  AFL Grandfinal and a man makes his way to his seat right
on the wing. He sits down, noticing that the seat next to  him is
empty.

 He leans over and asks his neighbor if someone will  be sitting
there.
 “No,” says the neighbor. “The seat is empty.” This is  incredible”,
said the man. “Who in their right mind  would have a seat like  this for AFL
 Grandfinal and not use it?”

The neighbour says “Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was
supposed to  come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first AFL Grand
Final we haven’t been to together since we got married in 1967.”

 “Oh …  I’m sorry to hear that. That’s terrible. But couldn’t you
find someone  else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the
seat?”
The  man shakes his head “No, they’re all at the  funeral.”

Slobb, happy Birthday for last Monday the 3rd. Hope it was a good one brother. Been meaning to call for ages, just never get up early enough…
